2nd Official Entry for 2nd Quarter: "Advantages and Disadvantages of Different types of Business"

Single Proprietorship(Advantages and Disadvantages)

There are some advantages of having single proprietorship type of business, the first one (1) Only the owner will have all the profit from the business. All the money that his or her business will earn is all for her. The second advantage of having this type of business is (2) Easy management of the business, because you don't have need to argue to someone who has any idea because you are the only one who runs the business. If there is advantages, it also have disadvantages, the first one is (1) all the problems of the business, only you will suffer. For example, you business is bankrupt, you are the only one to stand up and continue the business. The second disadvantage of this business is (2) you have Limited capital, because you are the only one who can invest for your business. Third (3) Limited life is also considered as disadvantage, because if the owner died, the business also will stop and die.

Partnership(Advantages and Disadvantages)
These are the advantages of partnership type of business. Let me enumerate it. The First one is (1) having more capital rather than single proprietorship business. You can have more capital in this type of business, because, you can have many investors for your planned business. Second advantage is(2) Many ideas. You can ask you partners for ideas in innovating the business if you want to improve your business, and if there's any problem, all of you will suffer, not only one. The disadvantages of this type of business is (1) Sharing of profits and earned money. You need to divide the profit equally for your partners, for example, if the business earn only one thousand pesos, and you are 5 partners in business. Each one of you will only receive 200 pesos for your profit. The second disadvantage of this type of business is (2) when you disagree to each other, it hard to manage the business if on of your partners will disagree in a particular idea. It is hard to think another idea when someone disagrees with you.

Corporation(Advantages and Disadvantages)
There are few advantages of this type of business. The first one is(1) Bigger Capital for a business. In this type of business(Corporation) has many investors. So the money that will be used in the company or in the business is bigger. It can start with a big business until you will have franchises and branches. You need to cooperate with your stockholders to maintain the business good and improve. The second advantage of having corporation type of business is (2) Unlimited life, because if the owner of the business died, there are many stockholder can still manage the business. And for the disadvantages of corporation, The business is control by government and hard to manage, you need to trust to all the employees that you have in the business. The other disadvantage of corporation is "disagreement" if one of the stockholders disagree, the business will fall or have a big problem.

These are the Advantages and Disadvantages of Different types of Business.

1st Official Entry for 2nd Quarter: "Different types of Capital"

There are three types of capital, Fixed Capital, Circulating Capital and Free Capital. The First one is the (1) Fixed Capital, this capital is good to have in a particular business. Because this capital refers to permanent things or things that we owned and has value. This thing that we have is called "Collateral". Collateral are the things that we can be proud of having it. We can use this things to have a fixed capital. For example, I have a business and I need to borrow money from bank and have a fixed capital. I have my own land,cars, and buildings. This things I can used as collateral and I will have a money for my capital. This example can be used in loaning from a bank. Bank is always looking for collateral or things that have value on it.So if the owner of the business cannot return and pay that he(or she) loan, his(or her) collateral will be taken of the bank.

The second type of capital is (2) Circulating capital . This capital is taking risk. The capital goods that are use is only once or sometimes, no more. For example, I have a business, "Drinking water Supply" . I am supplying drinking water in our village. Then, my capital is only just enough for the half of people in our village. Then, all of a sudden, all people in our village buy from my business some supply of drinking waters. Now, I need to get from my capital to supply the water that I need for my business. The capital circulates, when they buy again from me, I will earn again and put it on my capital. This is an example of circulating capital, it means that when something is gone, you need to replace it and replenish.

The last type of capital is (3) Free Capital. For me, this is the best capital among the two. Because this type of capital is easy to have, but you need to take the risk. This type of capital is common. The best example for having this capital is having a business like "JUNK-SHOP". Because you will have a free capital by buying and selling plastic bottles and any other recyclable things. So for me, if I will have a business. I will choose this type of capital. These are the three different types of Capital.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad Book Review

The Rich dad, Poor Dad Book is written by Robert Kiyosaki. This Book explain to us that we don't need to work for money, money should work for us. There are many lessons that we can learn from this book. Robert Kiyosaki is the author/narrator of the story. In the story, he has two fathers: The first was his biological father or the Poor dad and the other was the father of his childhood best friend, Mike or the Rich dad. The book requires the readers should have accounting knowledge so that they can clearly and easily understands what assets and liabilities are. The accounting knowledge is very important, no matter how boring it is because Robert Kiyosaki says that, "the most important subject in your life".

Robert Kiyosaki highlights two concepts by providing multiple examples for each and focusing on the need for financial literacy, how the power of corporations contribute to making wealthy even wealthier, minding your own business, overcoming obstacles by not fostering fear,cynicism,laziness and other negative attitudes and recognizing the characteristics of humans and how their are conceived notions and up bringing hamper their financial goals.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad explain to us how to live with valuable things in our lives. We should treasure and give importance to it. This book gives us six"6" major lessons, these are : (1)The Rich dont work for money, (2) The Rich invent money, (3) Minding your own business, (4) The need to work to learn and not to work for money, (5) The importance of financial literacy and the last one,(6) Taxes and corporations. These major lessons wakes up my mind. When I read the summary of every chapter of the book, I am already thinking about my future life. I want to be rich person someday. I am really inspired with this book. Honestly, I want to readd summaries only because it is easy to understand.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad, can help us alot, so I am very glad the our teacher in economics, Mr. Noel Delos Reyes, make the book review of Rich Dad, Poor Dad is our first quarterly project. From now I bear in my mind that "Money should work for me and I will not work for money"

5th Official Entry: The Best Economic System for me

For me, the best economic system is Market system also known as free enterprise. I really like this economic system. You know why? It is because we are free to move and do the things that we want to do.

We can also manage our own business without anybody's management. In this system of economic we can have many income because we all know what is the business have. We can also have free enterprise to established a great business so we can manage it easily. Compared to command economy system, market system has many advantages rather than the command economy system. In command system, no one will observes you, anytime you can rest, sleep or anything you want to do. As Sir Noel said. "LET MONEY WORK FOR YOU NOT YOU WILL WORK FOR MONEY"

For me this economic system is the best among the traditional economic system, command economic system and market system.

4th Official Entry: How could I contribute to improve the conditions in my school ot in the community

There are many simple ways that I can do to improve the conditions in my school and in the community. In school and as a student, I can do many simple things to help to improve our school. I can help by putting candy wrappers in trashcan, If there's no trashcan, I will put it on my pocket do the meantime. I can also help to improve my school by following the rules and regulations that the President and administrators have. I can also respect the school officers so they won't be thinking anymore to those student's who are not following them.

I can also help my community, by maintaining out garage clean and in the front of our house as well as. I also join activities in our community, the "TAPAT KO LINIS KO" project. We maintian our surroundings clean. I have many ways that I can do to help out community. I am putting my trash at the trashcan and I put it properly.

These are the things that I can do to improve our school and community. "Simple ways but can help ALOT"

3rd Official Entry: Conservation Of Valuable Things

There are many things that we need to do to conserve our valuable things. There are many kinds of valuable things. It can be a money,material things or love ones. Valuable things is very important to us, we always need it and also can be our wants.

We should conserve it and give importance to oue things. Water is also a valuable thing/ We should also conserve it, especially now that we are suffering crisis when it omes in water. There are many ways how to conserve water. Best example of that is, we should use a glass while we are brushing our teeth.Simple as that, we can conserve water in a day.

Money is also a valuable thing. We should conserve it. We can conserve our money by sharing it or investing. We can also keep it at our bank accounts and budget it on how we will spend it to our material wants and needs. We all know that money can provide us all what we need and what we want.

We, as a mankind in this world we should know how to conserve and give importance in each valuable things that we have. Me as a student, I have many valuable things, but not all of these is Im giving it importance. Sometimes, I forgot what is the role of one thing in my daily life and I don't even care when I am already wasting it. Now I will try my best to conserve all valuable things that I have.

2nd official Entry: Suggested Solution about Unemployment

There are many suggested solutions about employment. First,(1)Promote investments: local and foreign. In our age right now, we can invest our allowance, we should know how to keep our allowance be budget. Second,(2) Create an atmosphere of peace and order. We should prevent crimes in our society, so we can invest properly and take care our money. The third one(3) is Legislate laws conducive investments. Our investors want their investments legally protected. We should apply or make a law that can protect us and our investments. Fourth (4) Promote industrial peace. Industrial peace increases production and income for labor and management. Fifth(5) and last, Encourage to offer entrepreneurial course. Students like us should be trained in entrepreneurial activities and it can lead us to the creation of more business and jobs.

These are some suggested solutions about Unemployment.

[:1st Official Entry: Effects of Population Explosion in the Phillippines :]

Population explosion is considered as one of the indisputable alarming obstacles that stand on the path of the less developed countries. These countries produce great numbers in terms of human resources because the birth rate is much higher than in the rich countries, but the rate of employment and production in the poor
countries is very low. Definitely this is a very serious problem that the government should never take for granted.The Philippines belong to the group of these “less developed countries.” And as we all know, the growth of population in our country is unstoppable. In fact, the Philippine population is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. It is estimated that 3,000 Filipino babies are born every day, 100,000 every month, or one million a year to round.

There are many effects of population explosion in the Philippines. First,(1)Poverty; Filipinos more become poor and suffer hunger in their daily life. When a one Filipino family consist of 5-10 members, they can affect our population. Mostly, poor families have more members in their family. Their Major problem is their food t eat. Usually, the mother and father have no work or we call this unemployed. Population is the main source of their problem. Second and last (2)effect of population explosion is the Management of the Philippines. We all know, our new president Noynoy Aquino "P-NOY" will also be challenge in this problem. He will try to control the birth rate so that our population will be controlled in increasing the numbers. These ae the effects of population explosion for me.

Supreme Election 2010 at Graceland Christian College!

On Friday, 9th of July 2010 will be the Election in Graceland Christian College. This week will be pressured for me as a Scomel(Student Commelec), I will make the Ballot that will be using on the election. The candidates will have a room to room campaign on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday only one party will have a room to room campaign, and its Ronnille's party(HEART) and On Tuesday will be the campaign of Wene's party(Happiness). On Thursday, there will be the Meeting de Avance of the two parties. I wish them a Goodluck!. I hope that there will be no problems in this incoming days.

End of the week again! :]

I am very tired this week.
This Monday, we have our flag ceremony in the morning, I am the one who leads the prayer. I feel ashamed. This not my first time to be the prayer leader but, I am always nervous when I am facing and standing in the front of many people. I think I need to improve my confidence.

This morning(Friday morning), I am the prayer leader again! I am very sad because my classmates didn't want to be the prayer leader every morning.

I hope next week I will have a memorable and wonderful happenings in my last year in highschool life with my classmates, my friends and to my teachers.

I really missed JHUNiors - Class 2009-2010

I really missed my class when I was a Junior student. I missed all our trips,bonding moments,road trps and especially our humble adviser Mr. Jhun Villalon. He is a kind person and an adviser who is ready to understand you. He is always there for us even if we are very crazy. He knows when he will be angry and when he will be join our trips.

I will never forget the time when we are all practicing our cheer dance, we are always going home at around 8am. After our dance practice, we are always going to one of our classmate's house. We eat dinner there and have some bonding moments with Sir Jerry. Sir Jerry is always with us when we are practicing. I am very glad that we are all participating and joining what we want to do.

After all of our sacrifices and our efforts, we become the Champion of the "Cheer Dance Competition on 12th Foundation day of Graceland Christian College". I am glad that we won, every sweats and efforts that each and everyone gives, it has a very nice result. I know our adviser is very proud of us.

I remember that after the competition, Ma'am Victoria treat us some ice cream!. We eat together with a huge smile in our lips. I hope each on of us will treasure this experience. I want to say "Thank you" to all of my JHUNior classmates and to Sir Jhun. You guys makes my Junior Life memorable and unforgettable. I will never forget all of you. JHUNiors will always in my mind and in my mind forever. Hope to see you all soon when we are all successful.

Tomorrow is Another Day!

A new day again! Mam Victoria says that "A new day is always a fresh start" but my new day didn't start with fresh morning! I am very tired of doing my assignments I slept last night on 12midnight because I finished my research assignments.

Today, I will review now my lessons for our quizzes tomorrow. I hope that I can answer correctly all the quizzes tomorrow.

I hope also that this day becomes a Wonderful day! God bless us all!

Alot of Assignments! I don't know what to do!

Whoa! We have many assignments and quizzes on monday! I hope that I can finish reviewing and doing all my assignments..

Almost all of our subject has an assignments and it's more on researching. Other teacher thinks that researching details in internet is easy as pie but they don't know it's not. So most of my teachers are giving more assignments in researching.

I hope I can finish all this thing tonight so that tomorrow becomes my rest day..

My first week for being a 4th year student

Oh no! I can't imagine that I am now a 4th year student, and I can't believe it. Other people says that I am not look like a 4th year student and I am only laughing at them :] because I know it's true..

This is my first week of being a 4th year student, and it makes me crazy, because I feel the slight pressure and tiredness everyday. We have many assignments everyday and incoming reports.

This week is not totally stressful for me because other teacher are not starting our lessons. Besides all of the pressures that I feel, I am very happy because I am now again with my true friends.

I am very glad that Sir Noel ask us to create a blog, because of this, I can post anything that I want and what I feels every day. My only problem is my "language and writing skills" I am not sure with my grammars that I've using every I post something here. But I learn from sir Noel that we must have our "CONFIDENCE" so I know I must have this confidence and I will treasure it in my mind and I know God always helping me to improve myself everyday. Deep inside my heart I really enjoyed my first week of being a 4th year student! Godbless us all!

My expectations in my Social Studies[Economics] Class

I have many expectations in my Social Studies class..

Ihope that Sir Noel has more patience to us especially in understanding our lessons. I think me and my classmates cannot easily understand every lessons that we will be take up.
